“FEEDING THOSE IN NEED SO THEY MAY CONTINUE TO SUCCEED.”

Welcome to KIOTA, the SAU Student Food Pantry. Kiota is the Swahili word for “nest.” Kiota was established in 2016 to help alleviate food insecurity on the campus of Saint Augustine’s University. Like a falcon’s nest to an eyass, we want to provide our entire student body with a safe place to come when in need. Poverty poses a significant challenge to a student’s success. Kiota is here to address those dealing with food insecurities and assist them with their educational needs. We are in the business of feeding the minds as well as the body.
